The District of Coldstream regrets to announce that the seasonal opening of the Lavington Outdoor Pool will be delayed due to unforeseen mechanical issues identified during the facility's startup process.
The pool was originally scheduled to open on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Following routine startup procedures and inspections, staff discovered mechanical deficiencies that require immediate repair to ensure the pool can operate safely and reliably for the public.
District staff are actively working to complete the necessary repairs as quickly as possible, and anticipate opening the Pool on Monday, July 6, 2026.
The District appreciates the community's patience and understanding while these repairs are completed and looks forward to welcoming swimmers back to the pool in early July.
