Kidston Road construction between Coldstream Creek Road and Kinloch Drive

Construction to install traffic calming measures on Kidston Road will begin Monday, August 17, 2026. The project will include the construction of three speed tables, along with updated signage to reflect the new traffic features.
Kidston Road will remain open to single alternating traffic while work is underway. Motorists are asked to slow down and follow the directions of traffic control personnel to help keep both road crews and the travelling public safe.
Line painting will take place during evening hours on August 17 and 18. The map above outlines the construction zone. No detour will be available during construction.
The installation of the speed tables follows an analysis of traffic volumes and driving behaviours in the area. The analysis identified speed mitigation along the sharp curve as an important measure to improve safety for drivers and nearby residents.
The public is asked to plan for potential delays and exercise caution when travelling through the construction area.
