Notice of Assistance - Childcare Facilities

NOTICE IS HEREBY PROVIDED that, pursuant to Section 24 of the Community Charter, the Corporation of the District of Coldstream (the District) intends to lease its childcare facilities located in the Coldstream Community Hall and Lavington Park, as described below, for the purpose of having the North Okanagan Child Care Society (Maven Lane) operate childcare services in the District of Coldstream.  The consideration to be received by the District for leasing each of these properties will be $1.00 and other valuable consideration, paid annually for each location for a period not longer than three (3) years.  These lease arrangements will take effect June 1, 2023 upon completion of all necessary documents and statutory notifications.
