The District of Coldstream is pleased to provide an update on the delayed opening of the Lavington Outdoor Pool.
Following the June 19, 2026 announcement regarding unforeseen mechanical issues identified during the pool's seasonal startup, the District has received confirmation that the required replacement parts are expected to arrive early next week. Installation will begin immediately upon their arrival, and the Pool is anticipated to open to the public on Thursday, July 9, 2026.
The District appreciates the community's patience and understanding as staff work to complete the repairs and ensure the facility can operate safely and reliably.
At this time, the delay is not expected to impact swim lessons. Lessons are anticipated to begin as scheduled on Monday, July 13, 2026.
