Board of Variance
Council invites applications from the public to fill vacancies on the Board of Variance for a three-year term from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028.
The three-member Board is an autonomous body that meets to hear and decide upon appeals to vary requirements of the Zoning Bylaw and the Subdivision, Development and Servicing Bylaw. Experience in areas such as land use planning, architecture, building design, engineering, planning law, and the building industry, along with an understanding of zoning bylaws and how to read architectural plans, are an asset in performing duties required of Board members.
Applications will be accepted until all three (3) positions are filled.
