Fire Protection Bylaw No. 1712

The 2023 Fall and 2024 Spring open burn permit periods have been combined to run from November 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024

Acquiring a burn registration number from the Province does not replace the requirement to obtain a burn permit from the District of Coldstream.  The BC Wildfire Service does not issue permits for burns.   It is the responsibility of the person conducting the burn to acquire a burn permit from the District of Coldstream and to follow the requirements of the District of Coldstream Fire Protection Bylaw No. 1712, 2018.
