To support critical infrastructure improvements, Park Lane will be closed to through traffic between from Learmouth Road to Springfield Road (see map) between 7am-5pm from Wednesday, September 17 through Thursday, September 18, 2025. Overnight, single lane traffic will be permitted. Please obey all traffic control devises and signs.
This closure is necessary to facilitate an essential new water main extension, which will help ensure a more reliable and continuous water supply for the community.
During this period, local access will be maintained for residents and emergency services. However, to ensure safety and avoid delays, all other traffic is advised to use alternate routes.
Alternate Routes
- Please use School Road, via Learmouth Road, to access Highway 6.
- Commercial trucks and larger vehicles will be required to detour through Whitevale and Dure Meadow Road.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to safely access and complete infrastructure work beneath the roadway.
This important project is part of ongoing efforts to improve system reliability and reduce the risk of future service interruptions for area residents and businesses.
