Integrated Asset Management Plan - Draft
Urban Systems presented Council with the draft Integrated Asset Management Plan. This plan will assist Council in making decisions about the use and care of infrastructure to effectively deliver services in a way that considers current and future needs, manages risks and opportunities, and minimizes costs.
The next phase of the plan will be to proceeds with Community and Stakeholder engagement. Please watch for information regarding dates and times to see the draft plan.
Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga at Kal Beach
Council authorized Oxygen Yoga and Fitness Inc. to operate from Kal Beach, daily at 7:00 am for one hour and for 1 hour preceding dusk, throughout July and August to provide a Stand Up Paddleboard fitness opportunity.
Coldstream Park Irrigation
Council will be proceeding with the Coldstream Park Irrigation which will see the replacement of the existing aging irrigation. Cabin Operations Ltd. were awarded the contract, in the amount of $290,436.91 plus GST. Work is expected to take be completed no later than October 31, 2025. During construction, access to the ball fields will be closed, but most of the parking area, the washrooms and playground spaces will remain open for the duration of the project.
Building Report for the Month of May 2025
Council received the May Building Report. These monthly reports show the building activity for the month as well as year-to-date statistics.
