The Aberdeen Sewer project construction has been delayed due to the soil conditions beneath the CN Rail tracks. The project team was required to implement an alternative drilling method for the installation of water and sewer infrastructure, which required acquiring formal approval from CN Rail, as well as the delivery and set-up of specialized equipment.
Drilling is now scheduled to resume early next week and is anticipated to continue through to the end of the month. In the meantime, crews have been progressing on additional components of the project. At this stage, the overall project remains on schedule for completion near the end of September.
